Board Member In Focus: Pierre Ferrandon
It is our pleasure to introduce another of our new Board Members this month - Pierre Ferrandon.
Pierre is CEO and co-founder of Omada, a flexible workspace management company in partnership with Sudesh Jhunjhnuwala of Sudima Hotels.
Alexandra: Pierre, can you share a bit about your professional journey and what motivated you to join the FNZCCI Board?
Pierre: I have over 15 years of leadership experience in business development, marketing, real estate, and operations, with a focus on optimising workspace utilisation to reduce waste and foster community. My work with Omada addresses traditional office challenges, helping businesses adapt to hybrid models while maximising space efficiency, inspired by my own resourcefulness learned from living on a boat! By joining the FNZCCI, my aim is to reconnect with the French community and promote multicultural collaboration between France and New Zealand.
Alexandra: What personal passions do you tap into through your role as FNZCCI Board Member?
Pierre: Definitely people. Covid has been very hard for society and the result has been fewer interactions within the business community and I would like to think that by delivering a platform for people and businesses to connect through events we will help bring back stronger solutions for people to share ideas and innovation. Isolation is one of the hardest thing for small business owners (I know from experience!) and I am eager to support our members in connecting with each other and fostering a strong sense of community.
Alexandra: How do you see the FNZCCI supporting businesses in the current economic climate?
Pierre: Building a strong sense of community and fostering connections is crucial, especially in challenging times, as it encourages creativity and innovation. Additionally, providing access to FNZCCI Board Members' diverse expertise and acting as a connector for members can greatly support business growth.
